G'Day Skip,
If you go to an engineering outlet such as Blackwoods take a sample with you, if you have any trouble get back to me and I'll give you the numbers. They are used a lot for mounting stationary engines etc etc.0 -
Good on you Huddy42! i wont be able to take in a sample to blackwoods,as the engine is still sitting on em.My plan is to assemble everything i need before swapping motors,so if you have a parts number that would be great.I was told that 30s fords used similar mounts also.0

Skipster, I have these 2 new front engine mounts which may or may not be what you are after.
The part number on them is 31-2096. The mounting holes are on 4 3/4" centres, the rubbers are 3 3/4" diameter at the base, 2 1/2" diameter at the top and 1 9/16" thick. The stud is 7/16" diameter.

Thanks bob,but i think those mounts are from a stepdown.the mounts im after look like donuts(at least the front ones do,dont know what the rear mounts look like)

Huddy42,will await your wisdom!0 -
Skip.
here are the mounts from a 37 Terraplne I'm parting, pretty sure there the same, can you use them? offer? Todd 218-208-20800 -
Simon, rear engine mounts are available from K-Gap, and are the same mount for all '34-'54 models.0

Skip,
The Blackwoods mounts are as follows.
Top mount M117MF (04857619)
Lower mount M10440 ( 08729503)
There mounts should be availble from any engineering supplier , they are quite common in the engineering industry.
If you go to Blackwoods engineering supplies web site, type in Engine Vibration dampners you can see there what they look like etc, they come in different colours for different load requirements.0 -

I don't know, but from the pics it appears that those early, pre stepdown , mounts a very similar to early Ford V-8 front mounts. That is 32 to 48 Ford, if they are you should be able to get them from an early Ford parts supplier. Here in SoCal C&G early Ford parts in Escondido, Ca.( San Diego area) The Ford mounts consisted of upper and lower rubber biscuits wit a thru bolt and nut and I think a spacer that went over the bolt.0
-
Spencer,
Don't you remember Adam, the guy who owned that beautiful 1929 Hudson limo.???LOL0 -
Spencer, I think Les is referring to Adam here in South Australia. He has a vineyard here and I often sample his ale. This is the origin of the expression - Gods country and Adams ale.Continuing the LOL, Barry0
