1941 Hudson Master Cylinder
I need to replace my master cylinder. I have a 10P Hudson six de luxe. Are there any available or do people just sleeve them (brass or stainless). Are there any rebuild kits available including the rubber accordian push-rod boot that attaches to the back of the master cylinder mine is vitually gone. I've got new hoses and wheel cylinders do not seem to be a problem. Any help with the master cylinder would be greatly appreciated. Thanx.

Check the cylinder for 39 to 48 Ford passenger cars, Also the Calif. Inland Chapter has them in the club store. Check with Norm Blackmer in Ontario, Ca.0

FYI
I suggest calling Dave Kostansek @ 440 293 4079 for assistance.(I think Ford master cyl's of that period were identical bolt pattern).0 -

Just went through the rebuilding process on my '41... Napa had the rebuild kit listed as part number "1"
The parts guy had an old catalog (not too old) and found the right kit. Unless your master cylinder is really trashed you should be able to hone it out a little...
My 41 is stopping like a champ... now if I could only figure out what's going on with my clutch / trans...0
