A couple of guys have asked about whether Chuck's 1910 Hudson got home safely. I have to say the truck rode better going home than it did on the way down. I was sort of fun to look in my rear view mirror and see that Hudson letters on the radiator looking back at me. Many thanks to the guys who help get it loaded and provided advise on how to best strap it down. Not bad for a bunch of old guys.

    Hey Aaron,
I hadn't realized that the 1910 was yours. Did you buy it at the show? Neat car!!

As satisfying as the view was for you, I'll bet that the people watching you drive down the highway were surprised :woohoo: and delighted :cheer: to see the display your Hudson's offered.

I didn't realize that a '10 was small enough to fit in a pickup truck!!!! Gives it a whole new perspective. :woohoo:

That said - lets see you get something like Webers 1915 Six-54 Touring car into your pickup. That car's probably bigger than your truck. LOL

No, it is not my 1910. I was hauling it home to Iowa for Chuck Bogaard. Chuck had the 1930 Hudson Coupe at OKC. His enclosed trailer is behind mine in the picture.

Alex, the axels were 62" across and the inside of my box was 67" at the widest. The hardest part was getting the front spindles "inside" the pickup box. Once that was through, the rest was easy. Evan wanted to ride up in the seat. I told him it was too hot out!
