    :cheer: Those pictures are remarkable. In appearance they remind me more of acrylic paintings rather than photographs. I wonder how that was done?

    The technique is called HDR. You take several images of the same shot, under exposed, over exposed, and exposed properly and then overlay them over the top of each other. The end result is accentuated darks and lights. How "cartoony" or oily the image looks simply depends on the look the photographer is going for.
