 Okay, I know how to remove the lenses on the '37 Terraplane, but how do I remove and replace the reflectors without damaging them? They do need to be resilvered as they are tarnished. Thanks in advance. Arnie in Nevada.

Arnie, once you get the lens out, completely remove the screw at the bottom which makes it possible to get the bottom clip out as well. (Duke Marley had these re-made in case yours is all rotted out).

There are three spring clips, two upper (left and right, identical) and the one locking clip at the bottom. These fasten to the shell right behind the stainless steel trim. Mating brackets riveted to the reflector, fit into the holes on these three clips and you should be able to pull the reflector's brackets out of the spring clips and the reflector just pops right out of the shell with the brackets still on it. The clips can then easily be twisted out of the slots in the shell that hold them.

The brackets (on the reflector) are riveted, so you'll want to drill out the rivets and remove the steel brackets before you send the brass reflector out for plating. You can then re-rivet the brackets back onto the back of the reflector.

I'm about ready to re-do mine as well. How does one contact Duke Marley?

You'll find Duke's contact information at the bottom of my repro parts list, with the suppliers. He's #1, actually.
