Go to a good auto upholsterer and ask for, I think it's called chipboard, it comes in different colors. Cut to size and shape and dampen with a spray bottle on the back side. Clamp or weight down in plac and wait for it to dry, overnight, when dry you should be able to glue it down or use whatever mechanical fastners they used to attach it.0

Wow one I can answer
Contact Restoration Specialties http://www.restorationspecialties.com/
purchase waterproof panel board
cut board to size
draw out the bend lines
using a straight edge to guide the non sharp (back) edge of a razor knife to crease the board along the inside of the bend
carefully, using the steight edge as a guide, bend the board along the crease
i
sometimes, the thickness of the board will require a slight cut on the along the line on the outside of the crease
also, you might have to reverse the crease and cut to get a smooth bend
practice with the excess before trying on the needed part
this board then be covered with vinyl as original tbis board can be stitched through to attach the perimeter bead
hope tbis helps

Lew,
Thanks! Not for package rack but doors and kick panels does anyone have experience with Luan (Spp?)- a mahogany like plywood available in something close to 1/8 inch, or Masonite? Both might need waterproofing, especially on edges. Upholsterers in this area are using them. WaltLA0
