46 47 gas tank cut out location

Hi all,

I was wondering if any owners of a '46-'47 Hudson sedan could tell me the measurements of the gas tank cut-out on the trunk floor pan. I had the trunk floor replaced on my car but they never located the cut-out for the gas tank filler neck so now I have to cut the hole in the trunk pan.

Can anyone give me a measurement from the back edge of the trunk (from the inside) to where the filler neck hole begins???

This way I can make the cut-out myself. Thanks much.
