    Everything visible in that photo suggests this is a 1935 Terraplane; bumpers, grille, hood, headlamps. Not a '34.

    Addendum:
    Now that I've gone to the Hemmings ad, it correctly says it is a '35.

    The price is amazing for an admittedly nice (although the interior isn't so hot) 35 Terraplane 4-door. Query: the most common 34/35 ?
    This leaves me wondering what 34 and 35 cars are currently worth in realistic terms.
    Over here in England, they auctioned the Captain America movie cars a few months back. A 35 Hudson 8 long wheelbase Club Sedan (a very rare beast ?) went for less than 5000 Pounds, if my memory serves me right. It needed fresh paint, chrome and an interior job but was said to be fully functioning.
    The 34 Hudson 8 convertible we talked about in an earlier thread that needed completing but was road-worthy was advertised here in England at 27000 Pounds and has now sold for an unknown but possibly lesser price.
    A few months back a local old car dealer was asking 15000 for a very presentable 34 Terraplane 4-door with a sidemount and original leather interior. That has now sold, again possibly for a bit less.
    On the flip side, there's a dark red 36 Hudson 8 English body 4-door sports sedan that has been for sale in England for at least 2 years and the asking price hasn't dropped from an insane 89000 Pounds. We'll draw a discreet veil over that one....

    My wife always tells me that they are not worth a penny unless you sell em? I notice a lot of cars post on eBay that never reach reserve and those that do sell are always a reasonable price. The red 36 you are speaking about belonged to a member of the Railton Club there in England and he sold it to the current owner for about half of what the new owner "dealer" is asking. When I saw it for sale it was the "only one ever built." Well, you know how that goes... A Brough Superior sold in June on eBay for $100 grand. One sold at auction last week for $187 grand.

    Whoever bought those Broughs would have been better off buying them in England where they cost nowhere near as much.
    I've never seen that 36 sports sedan myself, but those who have say it has a vinyl interior.
