Hi all, just got back from the NZHRA nationals, got heaps good feed back about the coupe, had a guy come up to me as we were taking it off the trailer, and commented that he would have never believed a 31 Essex coupe could make a cool rod but were had done a superb job of it and should be really proud (which I am)
Also took out the Best Modified Stock Coupe 1st prize for the show
My friends 32 Ford roadster and Hard top took out 5 prizes from best upholstery through to the best of the show
1st time in New Zealand the same car had taken out 2 complete wins for 2 major NZHRA shows in 1 year
Well done Lance Crane

Honestly....I'd take yours over Lance's '32....much more unique and classic....you don't need flames to "set your's off"!!!!
Excellent presentation!!
Thanks for sharing!!

Went to a 1 day run for the Southside Hot Rod Club today and there was about 70 cars, the old girl got a prize for getting into the top 5
They didn't have an over all winner in the top 5
