Hi all, what are the suggestions for filling very fine holes in brass or bronze
I am playing around with some castings and there are very fine pits in them
and I want them to be chromed and not get flash marks or bubbles in the chrome
suggestions are greatly appreciated
or would fine pits get covered by the copper
Thoughts

The acid copper process will cover the fine pits but would be best to show the piece to the plater who has to guarantee the result for his opinion.

Ok "still out there". Now I see your avatar is from the other side of the car and no boxes on it. So what is that thing?!:)

I'm going to guess Chrysler design, late fifties concept/show car?

    Mike,

I was told silver solder is OK but check with your plater.
