Need twin H carb #s

My research gives the following for Twin-H Carbs:
WA1-990S - 1952 Wasp, Commodore 6, 1953-1954 Wasp, Super Wasp
WA1-968S - 1952-1953 Hornet
WA1-2009SA - 1954-1956 Hornet 6
I'll see if I have the casting numbers.
Only can find casting number for 968S - that's No. 910 (Stamped on flange).

On the base of the carbs there should be a # 910 scribed if it is 910 then the carbs are either a 968s(for 52-53) or 2114s( 54) Twin H. If the small brass triangle tag is present it will read either of those two. If the tag is missing, you will need to rely on the base # 910. Either 968s or 2114s is fine to use. WA-1s were used for years on many makes. Jetting, float level among other things are differant from model to model.0

OK, thanks. I was looking at the numbers on the bowls, and they are different, but I also noticed a difference in the acc. pump actuators, I think I may have a mismatched set.0
-
Your right Ken, typo. Zombie you did check the numbers on the base right that is under the carbs ie the part that is against the manifold gasket. What are the numbers?0
-
I need to check them when I get home, any idea what the metering rods# are supposed to be?0
-
metering rod jet is .1015 diameter. " Vacumeter" metering rod length = 3 9/64" In 3 steps economy=.076" diameter, tapers to .063" then tapers again to .056" Check in shop manual.0

I found one post that identifies the stock twin h metering rod as a 75-834, can any one confirm this?0
-
I just checked mine and the front carb tag says 2009s and the rear is 2113s I have another 2113s, should I change it out?0
-
968s take 75-834 and 2113s take 75-955 rods and both must be set with Carter tool #T109-102. They have different idle jets and can not be changed. Walt.0

Ok I took the 2113s that was in the box apart and the main body is broken, can I transfer all the parts into the 2009s body?0
-
No, passages are different. If you need a main body, contact me at hetwaltmordenti@aol.com. Drop the het. Walt.0

Well, I soaked the 2113s carb parts in cleaner and used some marine tex to fix the broken ear of the carb body last night, put it all together with the remnants of an NOS kit I had, and voilà, she runs great! Taking her on a 6 hour round trip to VA this week end so we will see if every thing holds up, then I believe I'll be sending the Twin H to Walt for a good once over and a replacement front carb body. Thanks to all for the great info as usual!0
