    I spotted the following ad on the Restored Cars classified website, on page http://www.restored-classic.com/essex-parts/ -- bottom left column:

    1931 Essex Super Six, Hi I have a engine, transmission, front end, complete rear, and rims - Hugo, MN contact Tony 651 429 2000 - Contact pod 2420 -

    This was from September of 2010 so may be gone now. The "contact POD" is an internal thing, you have to be a member of the website, but you could phone him too.

    Also, there was an ad for an unknown Essex drive train at the same site:

    Essex - I have discovered an essex on our family farm in a barn they used to use to power a saw mill side louvers are there, the frame head lights rad motor gearbox frame, looks like a 6 cylinder. not sure the last time it ran. is it worth any thing to any body? - Tweed (Ontario) in Canada

    Thanks, Jon. As always you are on top of things first. I had already contacted the Minnesota man who had long ago sold the parts. I have just today emailed the sawmill guy keeping my fingers crossed! I joined up just to reach these two. So far no direct replies to my most recent (this one) or older one (February) but yours. Still owe you on the find of the 1934 Roadster. Got a 1922 Essex cut into a "doodlebug" tractor and hope to display for Gettysburg. Ron
