I really like the door pulls on the inside of the doors. Were those an option or only on some models?
I would love to get a hold of them for my T.

As the man said - "Ain't that purty!!!!!!!!" I really like the paint job - it fits a commercial model. And look at all the space on the sides for some sort of (Hudson) logo!!
Will be in G'burg camera in hand.

The landau bars are period correct aftermarket; patented in 1928, that were used on several different vehicles. i.e. Any period correct paint color or accessory could have been ordered.
1936 Hudson panel deliveries were custom built in York, PA by York Hoover Body Company and could be built to buyer specifications. I am making a funeral home service car from mine, hence the landau bars and coach lanterns.0 -

FYI, During first half of last century, all funeral homes had "service car" that was used for hauling flowers, flower stands, prayer rails, lamps, chairs, etc to place of visitation, as most visitations were in family residence or local social hall, not in funeral home. They were also occasionally used for transferring remains to funeral home, but a hearse was generally used for funerals, as service car was too short to haul casket.0

I've seen pictures of service cars. Did you know that Ed Moore has a 1929 dual cowl phaeton that was converted into a funeral car. It has side boards that pall bearers could stand on and there was room in the body for a casket or I suppose it could have been used to carry flowers to the church and/or cemetary.

Dave, you're right, Scott has the prettiest '36 PU on the planet, but, no doubt, you have the most beautiful panel delivery in existence. Can't wait to see it in Gettysburg.

I couldn't do it without Ken. We have been working on it one or two 6 or 7 hours a week for 16 months now. We hope to have it done for Gettysburg. Done or not, it will be there.0 -
