Best Wishes Needed!

So, going to look at a 51' site unseen on Saturday. At a guy's parents farm, It is alleged to be a Hornet. I need some good wishes and the favor of the Motoring Gods. Would rather not find another 4 door Pacemaker.

    Hehe, I am now inspired to purchase a Nash Bathtub, and replace the Petty flying lady hood ornament with a chrome bathtub faucet set from Home Depot, hook it up to a pressurized water tank. Drive to a car meet and step back and watch for some hapless person to come along, see the faucet on the hood of the car and just, just has to turn the knob, thinking "No way can this be really hooked up to water..." The hapless schlub's brain says "Go on, open the faucet, you just know you want to!" So he opens the faucet knob and the pressurized water gushes out, straight to the front of his trousers! Muahahahahaha! The poor schlub now has to walk around the car meet explaining to others how he "wet" his pants........:evil:

    That "Hudson" sort of looks like the car my dad made me buy (back when I was in high school) - after I outran the local cops with the hot rod (what today would be known as a resto rod) I had at the time. Dad took my keys, sold my car and made me by a 1949 Nash 600 sedan.

    I never could figure out why there wasn't a dad in town would let his daughter go out with me!!!!!!

    Well, It turns out that it was a 55 or 56 Wasp, and there's not much left of it. The whole body shook like jello if toy grabbed the door and jerked it. Got a set of rims. Lost my phone out there, fantastic day.

    Somebody told me once: "You'd better regret something you've done than something you did'nt." I translated it from french. Hope it has the same meaning. Who knows, it could had been a gem. Maybe next time and thank you from all cause we were also in the expectation of something great to happen. Michel

    Ain't that the truth! When I was in high school, there was the cutest '50 Ford coupe in the parking lot at church- I staked it out afterward, and a little old lady got in. I wanted in the worst way to approach her about buying it, but figured she had owned it forever, would never sell, didn't want to bother her, so I didn't.

    Saw it a week later, totalled, at the local towing emporium. Turns out she sold it, the day after I saw it, to a local knucklehead, who promptly destroyed it. I sorta changed my outlook on such things after that. :(
