Windshield sealant

Yes, it is called Buytl windsheild sealant. It is sold at NAPA. It stays pliable and is not urethane. No, do not put sealer between the glass and the rubber. When you install the trim arounf the inside of the windsheild, this makes the trim sqeeze the rubber against the body and thus creates the seal. Sometimes you will find sealer at the corners where the center post is. The center post needs to have a little extra sealer put there because of the halves coming together. I usually put the sealer all the way around in the body, then slide the glass with ruber installed on it into place, install the clips at the bottom. You can also usually see these fiber or cardboard blocks on the outside edge that pushes the glass towards the center. I sometimes put these back in,depends if the rubber is new. This is kind of hard to explain , is just something that you do. Hope this helps, CG0
