Hello all,
The project to resurrect Australian John Meadows' molds and to make the first batch of float bowls is beautifully done in bronze and they have no voids or pits. I am told by the investment casting firm that we are able to produce more without delay. I have attached five pictures here showing the first three un-machined castings. The next step is to get a bowl and lid machined to know the time required to do this. The cost is still not clear until we know the machine time. A couple of people have suggested they could help with this, and now is the time to speak up again. I am going to hope they can be done for $600 for the finished bowl and lid. Please email me at: ivanz62@comcast.net
Cheers,
Ivan

It's gratifying to see this sort of thing being reproduced, especially since I understand that Marvel carburetors were cast from the alloy Decomposium.

If you happen to make any extras, and wish to list them for sale on my Hudson Repro Parts webpage please e-mail me at HETdetailed@verizon.net and I'll be happy to list them.
