Dear Hudsonites,
Can anyone gives us an advice for which Hudson part supplier we should choose (please provide a web address or mail address) to get a (NOS or refurbished) distributor for a Hudson Super 6 Convertible. In Holland / Europe were we live are almost no parts available.
Anyone ??
Kind regards,

And Sietze Dunning ('49 Super Six Convertible)

Hans,
Did you try the White Triangle News as a resource?

Try Jason @ Vintage Coach. Tuesday thru Saturday 8am till 5pm Pacific standard time. 909-823-9168.0

Hi John,
Fact is that most sellers from the White Triangle News who sell these parts have no email or website. We rather like to communicate by internet, that makes it most of the times easier for us even with payments (like by Paypal e.g.)

Are you aware of Svenska Hudsonklubben, in Sweden? http://www.hudsonsweden.org/0
-
Yes we are aware of the Sweden Hudson Club but the never react on any message from anyone. Several Hudson members have tried to reach these guys.

Hi Kenneth,
Thanks. Are these NOS parts of refurbished ones ? And what will be the price for such a part. Both our distributors suffer from worn bearings. Can you provide us some contact info ?
Thxs Hans & Sietze0 -
Hi Kenneth,
Good advice but were to find new bearings ?? Do you have any in stock ? Or do you mean Dale or Randy have these available ? Do you have email addresses of these guys ?
Thxs hans0 -
Howdie Kenneth.....are you the Urfell guy who is been here at my garage some while ago ??

Hi Kenneth, mit geht's gut Danke !! How are you ? Indeed long time no see. How are your cars ? Is your Tatra allready on the road again ?
My Hudson is on the road again after two years of barn rest. This year a lot happened to the car helped by some good mechanical guys (like you). New brake sets (finally) overhauled and placed, replacement and overhaul of several engine parts and wiring. Adjustment of many items. Now is it is one touch on the starter button and it runs ! Just awesome. I have a wedding of a well known theater person who loves my Hudson. He asked me to drive him and his new wife that day, the 31th of December coming up !! A lot of people will be there too so the Hudson will be the second role player that day I think. Looking forward to it !
Kind regards, Hans
PS Do you have any bearings available for our distributors ?0 -

Good morning Kenneth,
Perfectly Dutch ! Thank you. I slept well :silly:
I will have a look at my distributor tonight and see what's on the tag.

Hallo Dutch Hudsonites !! Een Nederlander in Frankrijk met een Terraplane 1933, dat is weer een beetje anders dan een Englishman in NY !
All the best !0 -
Hans and Seitz, for good used parts and technical information I recommend Doug Wildrick, our main "clutch guy." His email address is in the WTN. Dale Cooper is the best for new engine parts and gaskets, but he doesn't have email. However, I or Ken can be "middle man" for you and contact Dale by phone. Park Waldrop ... email HETpwald@comporium.net. (remove the HET for actual address)0

Hallo Dutchud in Frankrijk,
Dear Park,
Thank you for your reply and offer to help us out. This day Sietze managed to get an offer from a machinery nearby which can reproduce the bearings from the proper material. So the problem seems to be solved. But anyway it is good to hear of people / addresses we can count on.
best regards,
Hans & Sietze0 -
I still have lots of bits/parts for sale and complete unit as well. Let me know if you are still interested. What's your phone number? r.lugosltd(at)gmail.com0
-
Thxs for your reply and support. We maybe have solved our needs by finding a local machinery who can make the bearing too. But if they do not succeed we will get back to you.
Regards, Hans & Sietze0
