Twin H on 50 262 motor

FYI
The intake will fit the motor fine, however Hornet's have slightly larger carbs than 262 Twin H intakes. Some people over the yrs probably interchanged the Twin H's without ever realizing the difference.0 -
Thanks, I bet you are right,I knew the base of the carbs. are bigger than the 262 on the 308. I guess the differance in block wideth might make some differance. The linkage on the short wheel base is different and hard to come by. I have the linkage off of the 308. Thanks again and have a Merry Cristmas.0

I have seen the 308 set-up on many 262's. It really seems to make them run Ok too. If you look, the 307093 Part# will be on a 308 twin-H manifold as well as the 262 manifold. The manifolds, as far as I can tell, are identical, except the throat size of the carb base.0
