Well, I thank everyone for the help with my vin# questions, it turns out it is a 7C. We just bought the car and should have it in a week or two. It will be coming from CA. It is a 53 Hornet that was restored 20 years ago and has been stored for most of that time. It is a 4 door, green and ivory with a real leather interior. It is a standard shift with overdrive. We are very happy to have finally gotten a Hornet. Richie.

Michel, I will post some pics after I get it home and cleaned up. There were a few small pics on the net but not very good ones. After I get the complete story I'll post it here. Thanks for your interest. Richie.

Curious, is this car, the one that has been stored in a winery?

Ken, it was stored in a furniture warehouse as far as I know. Richie.

Thanks Lee, waiting is hard but as long as it gets here safe and sound I will be happy. It needs a good cleaning and some minor details need to be taken care of. I should have more history of the car after it arrives. Richie.
