Hi all. Can anyone tell me if a 37 Hudson 6 cylinder radiator is the same as a 36 Terraplane 6 cylinder? Thanks in advance. Radster

Until someone weighs in with a definite answer, I'll suggest that it probably doesn't fit. The sheet metal is entirely different between the two years and the '36 is higher. So even if the cores of the two radiators were the same, the sheet metal around the core would be shaped differently to fit the grille shell of each year.

I agree with Jon. The '37 is a completely different car and I don't believe that much interchanges between the two.
  • Thanks guys. I suspected as much but thought I should confirm before commiting. Radster

You could go to the online library, 1930 manuals, and check in the 1930-1939 Master Chassis Parts catalog. Radiator core assemblies are listed on page 342 - the part numbers are different between 1936 and 1937. 1937 Hudson 6 part number (radiator core) 152552; 1936 Terraplane core is p/n 150541.
