This is the car that launched my love for Hudsons. I was 9 at the time ( in 62), my father is at the wheel and I am the young boy with his arms over the door. My dad had paid $125.00 for the car and kept it for two years before selling it to my brother Joe who is at the wheel on the second pic. Still hoping to get my pic at the wheel of my own convertible one of these days... Hope tha pics turned good in here.

Here's my car {was my grandmother's}in 1957 with my mom & uncle terry,my grandmother passed away less than 2 years later.so i guess it was imbedded in my D.N.A to love this car, growing up i would always go the north shed & visit 'my' car, took me 30+ years for it to become legally mine,

What is it about Hudsons that attracts us. I grew up in the back seat of a 1948 Super Six Sedan. It was the first family car bought two years before I was born. My father always said it was the best car he ever owned.(the car was junked in 1959 after my older brother blew up the rear end). He also talked about dating my mother in 1935-36 in my Grandfathers 1930 Hudson.
When I got married in 1976 I told my wife about the Hudson and that I wanted one. In 1976 after my dad passed away my wife found my first Hudson in a classified ad. I bought my first Hudson and now I own three plus my brother Dan owns two.
I have two sons who are also imbedded with the Hudson D.N.A. Both are involved with Hudsons. My son Greg is the editor and printer of the New England Chapter newsletter. What is it about these cars that draws us to them.0
