Clifford Headers

I got my set of headers from Clifford a couple weeks ago with the thick gasket and collectors for 2.25 pipes. Larry recommended triple chamber flow master mufflers, with an 18 inch stinger off the back of the mufflers.
It took about 4 months from ordering the headers before they arrived. But my car is getting a 3.07 rear end and a few other things to get ready to run to Arizona on Rt. 66
Thanks Dan Maupin hud nut0 -
I recently bought a set from Larry, and mine took about six months from the time I ordered them. At that time he was just cutting loose another batch, so I knew it was going to be a while. I called him after several months and he told me that they were waiting for the flanges to be welded on, and because his supplier had to cut back and lay off employees, it was taking longer than anticipated. But I got them a few weeks ago, and they look great.
Bottom line is they are a fantastic product for a great price, and I give credit to Larry Clifford for keeping his Dad's Hudson connection alive today, and still offering parts.0 -
It took a while to get mine as well but they're installed and sealed. Unfortunately I tried the EASTON header coating (black) and wound up getting some on me, some on the header. After following the instructions carefully and running in the engine several times, I'm already getting oxidation (rust) on the pipes. Anyway I ran two 2" pipes, one over, one under the main front cross member into a Walker "X-flow" muffler with two 2.5" exhaust pipes out the passenger side.
