I was going through my desk and found two old registrations for my father's 53 Hudson Wasp. The ser. number was 5C-207373, it was a blue two door. My father had a fender bender and I think it went to the salvage yard, but not sure. It was a very nice car and I used to wash it pretty often. Kinda fun remembering back to the old days. Richie.

Me and my 51' Hornet summer of 1953 while in the Army. Had I had my head together by keeping the serial #, when I traded it in, in 1955 for a Pontiac Cheiftain, (that was one stupid move), I probably could have traced it down and got it back.
I did try to get it back from the dealer back then, but no such luck. This car was driven halfway across the US about four times in two years, never had a problem except for light dimmer switch.

Hudson Grandpa, wouldn't it be great if we could go back in time !! Nice pic and a Hornet coupe none the less. Great pic. Richie.
  • It sure would be great to go back in time. I'd love to have a picture of the 1951 Commodore8 my father had when I was growing up. That's what made me a Hudson man.
