Brougham Interior Valance (Woodgrain)?
Picture LINK of a Valance on a coupe.
Did the Stepdown Brougham use the Steel interior panels that would be painted or Woodgrained?
My current Pacemaker Brougham has door cards covered in material and my Coupe has steel woodgrained panels.
I would like to get some steel valance panels for my 1950 Brougham.

Hi Matt,
The steel valance you're talking about is common to the Commodore models (doesn't matter body style). The SuperSix and the Pacemaker didn't have the steel valance and used the "door card" as you mentioned. I believe the steel valance was painted wood grain.

Also, since they didn't produce any Commodore Broughams, you wouldn't find a stock brougham with the valances, but a set from a coupe should fit just fine (as far as I know). I think they definitely look good!

Thanks for the info. I will see if my coupe rear valance panels fit in the rear of the Brougham.
Does anyone have any coupe steel valances for sale?0
