Orange Blossom Hudson Winter meet. February 17, 18 19. Saturday the 18th is the main meet day.
It's at Earl Brown Park on S. Alabama AV at Volusia AV East. Deland, Florida

    Was one of my favorite meets a few years back when I was still working for a living. I would schedule a business trip to Florida just to attent the meet? Those were great days..... Guess I will miss it this year, no one to provide me free air fare and lodging. Being a working man had its benefits.

    If there is anyone attending the Orange Blossom Meet this weekend and you happen to have a few back issues of the White Triangle News that you would like to donate to a worthy cause, please take them with you and give them to Dave Waddell. Dave will be setting up the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club "Welcome Center" at the meet and he could use some back issues of the White Triangle News to hand out to prospective members. We did this at the national meet in Oklahoma City last year and it worked out great. We will be doing this at the regional meets and at the national in Gettysburg.

    Actualy Warren Lusk will be manning the registration table/desk ! I will help him to put the banner up. Warren is the keeper of all things "Hudson" from shirts to hats and all the other stuff. He is one of those unsung heros that do all the work behind the scenes. weather is kinda "iffy" But we will soldier on.Convertibles will be displayed "tops up". Be there or be square...:S

    :( Not going to happen for me this weekend,BUT it is a small world.During a 'Pot Luck' dinner at my RV park in Polk City a gentleman asked me about my Hudson T-shirt.
    I told him I had a 49 and he said he had a 37?(might have said 36)Terraplane and had just got his WTN.I told him about the chapter meet this weekend and at this point we were holding the line up so he said he'd check it out in the WTN.Missed them after the meal so now I'll have to figure out were he's at in the park.I'm stuck at the
    park this weekend till my brother gets back from Ohio,but I will make it to a winter meet one of these years...

    Not great turn out of cars because weather forcast was not good, but it ended up staying dry and 79 degrees. Fellowship was great, as was the food and hospitality. Here are a few pictures
