    Randy will be adding this to the head ad.
    Do NOT use any type of gasket between the 2-parts, use only Aviation type sealer or Indian Head shelack between the halves including around each spark plug head-hole just before installing on the engine. As per Inst. from Mr. Clive Gibson
    The above was sent to me many years back when i owned this head.

    The Juvenile detainees I work with told me there was a Head Shop in town...I checked it out and was dissapointed at the lack of automotive-related items...

    Clive Gibson was a legendary Hudson Speed maker... his expertise crossed all sorts of HUDSON experiences including the design and manufacture of the head now available on eBay. Much of the original R&D behind the CLIFFORD aluminum Head can be traced to this head and the work Clive did making it work.

    Sadly Clive is gone and the wealth of racing, R&D and making Hudson engines preform is gone. Rest in Peace.

    51 hornet, I have one that came on a 308 Gibson Binks equiped engine that I bought many years back. Used it on a Jet drag car and will soon be on my 1951 Super-6

    Nice, thanks for pics. Would love a proper Aluminum version of the Twin H intake. The cast one is heavy. Just replacing that would be weight savings. Plus polished up that looks nice under the hood.

    chuck Fellows and myself designed one with Fins to match our Twin Vortex alum.cyl head. It would accept 2-wa-1 carters or 2-twobarrel carbs. All of the Runners are equal in the ID as well as the length.
    It is a 2 piece front and rear and open in the center for better cooling of the Aluminum. The balance tube is on the outside and between the center. You could use the Hudson Ex manifold with a blockoff plate bolted to the top or use with headers.
    We have all of the drawings and it was in the wooden state when we had to stop the project due to irreconcilable differences.
    We may try to find someone else to produce what we think would be the best flowing 2 piece Aluminun fins intake manifold with runners on the floors of each tube. Thanks Rudy
