    We have a brougham like that in Alabama. Purchased in Mississippi, close to the same price. Same color green and with the stainless trim, but a 52. Bob P

    The first year a Wasp model was available was 1952. It was a step above the Pacemaker. In '53 the Pacemaker was dropped and the Wasp took its lowly position. But in '53 the Super Wasp was introduced.

    If someone inquires about the car, get the complete serial number which will verify exactly what this car is. And if the seller is just guessing, a very good question is going to be whether a title exists for the car.
