I have a restored 1931 Hudson Town Sedan, VIN# 917271. Can anyone
tell me how many cars of this model (Town Sedan) were manufactured?

    Hudson did not keep track of how many of each body style they built.
    You might find the Hudson 8 website at yahoo.com of interest, we have over 200 members worldwide.

    I have a range of VIN's from 914293 to 930769 that were supposed
    to be 119" wheel base town sedans with 237ci 88hp engines. I am
    trying to confirm this.

    that would indicate you have an early '31. The 1st 119" w.b. model built was #914293 and the last one build was #930769.
    The long w.b., 126", had 5 digit numbers.
    A '31 Town Sedan list price was $945 and weighed 3055 lbs.

You've posted to the "General Topic Area" which is for all makes of cars, and not a lot of Hudson enthusiasts venture out to this particular forum.
