Drive shaft cross member support braket

Im finding out in the last year replacing part for my stepdown isnt like buying parts for my 50'shoebox. I think thats some of the charm of owning a Hudson.
I need to replace of rebuild the cross member support for the drive shaft. Dont think i should try traveling to PA this spring for National with rope wraped around it hold all together.
Does anyone no if there is a replacement for my 54 Auto trans Hornet.
Or do i have to road the plant for a used one that doesnt reqiure a rope.

    Try any of the used parts suppliers in the HET mag. I'm sure there are decent '54 brackets out there.

    do you need the whole bracket, or do you just need to replace the bearing?

    Be a little more accurate about the problem. Is the bracket / frame rusted for driveshaft. Or are you needing the rubber mounts , the rubber mounts are not hard to find,

    before you put it back together, check out a shop manual. make sure you have all the parts and they are together correctly. the auto and std use the same parts in different configurations.

    I got my rubber mounts from Kgap as well as the motor and trans mounts. Good service.
