There is supposedly a huson terraplane essex museum in or near philedephia , pa. It is owned by a Dr. Blake form new york city area perhaps,not sure. Has anyone ever heard of it? You can send me a note at: jonbearman@yahoo.com I would be very appreciative to find out where this place actually is.I would love to visit it soon. Thanks in advance for your help.

They show a good looking 40 Hudson for sale. The porta potty was an interesting option. Looks like a nice museum to visit. To far away for me.

Make an interesting side trip during the Gettysburg National - only about 120 miles north-east, all interstate, except the last mile or so.

Fellow HET Member, Dr. Robert Blake will graciously open his 'Old Spokes Auto Museum - Home of the Hudson' museum for an open house style tour. This museums houses a collection of Hudson products ranging from a 1911 touring to a fully restored 1957 Hornet Hollywood Hardtop with all options including Kelvinator Air Conditioning. There are more than 50 other very interesting cars including: a right hand drive Pioneer-bodied roadster from Argentina; a limousine with the early equivalent of a porta-potti... funnels through the floor to the street below; a fully restored award winning 1924 sedan and a 1954 Hornet convertible. There are several 1955-6-7 AMC era Hudsons on display, including Hudson Ramblers and Metropolitans There is an extensive memorabilia collection which includes advertisements, showroom banners, signage and dealer promotional items, photographs and a Hudson built, Invader 168 marine engine. The Hudson Company's 1930 era pioneering attempt at independent front suspension, patented as "Axle Flex," is also on display together with several complete automotive engines, including an AMC era 327 V8 with 4 barrel carburetor and a NASCAR winning Twin-H-Power 308 straight six. All this is housed in 2 historic dealership buildings: the fully restored OJ Fritz Ford Dealership and the local Maxwell Dealership. These fully restored facilities make up the Old Spokes' Hudson collection complex.
Bus transportation, admission to the museum and lunch will be provided.
