Hallo,
now we removed and cleaned the carb, it is a Marvel Type E, is it the correct carburator ?
I have a Chiltons Flat Rate Manual, there I could not find this Type.
When I press the gas pedal, the throttle does not open completly. Something is wrong with the gas throttle control. I would be very pleased if somebody perhaps can send me a foto or a design how this system must be connected in the correct way, I could not find an answer in the literatur I have.
Regards
Juergen

A Flat Rate Manual would be pretty useless to you as all that tells is how long it's supposed to take to do something - they were used by garages as a standard for charging customers.
If you can find one the thing to get is a small booklet actually printed by Marvel for their carbs, has complete list & diagrams of all the parts, tells how to adjust & set up etc.
Your throttle rods are pretty straight forward, just come straight off the firewall to the carb., only one or 2 adjustable links. If someone changed the gas lines & put in an elec. pump as you indicated before they may have bent or moved the throttle rod(s).
I've gotten rid of most of my Hudson literature covering the '32 but will look.
