I made these out of carboard. Had the pic for wallpaper on my desktop for a while. Drove me nuts, had to replace it.
The other pic is our car at the local drive-in when they showed the CARS movie.
Ran the thing in the parade and all the kids were yelling DOC HUDSON.
First thing my 3 yr old grandson wants when he gets here is a ride in it.
Lots of fun.

Very nice car. Ineed to get or make a pair of eyes too. Grandpa and grandma took our three grandkids, ages 5-10, to the movie when it came out because they wanted to see it. I knew there was a Hudson in it but really dont care for those kind of movies. I finally agreed and off we went. When it started I figured OK its only a couple of hours and they are my grandkids. By the time the movie was over I was more excited than they were. When we left the theater I told my grandson that grandpa had a Doc Hudson. He was all excited to see it so we went to the garage where it is stored. I turned on the lights and it was like someone let the air out of him. "Granpa thats not Doc Hudson. Doc Hudson is blue". He turned around and went back to the car. Grandpa was crushed!!! Sometimes you cant win. My 51 hardtop is cream and green. lol Maybe the eyes will help?0

This was at the Premiere at our local theater. These were made with posterboard glued together and then magnetic strips glued around the edge (mostly at the top) so that it would stick to the windshield trim. It worked well.0 -
