Crossed referenced these #'s with Acme chips and Dupont chips that I have for 1952:
Broadway Blue - 96
Symphony Blue Green Light - 93
Jupiter Gray - 95
Southern Blue - 97
Boston Ivory - 92
Gulf Green - 115
Symphony Blue Green Dark - 123
Texas Tan - 27
Toro Red - 64
French Gray - 72
Jefferson Green - 62
Black - 5
These are all the colors that were available on the '52 models as cross referenced by the official Hudson Dealer Price, Equipment and Option folder for the 1952 models as copied for me by Jack Miller from his dad's original. I also have the codes for the 2-tone combinations that were available, but these are all 3-digit codes and none of them could be mistakenly read as #98.
I wonder if the stamping on the hinge is not 98, but possibly #93 Symphony Blue Green Light or
#96 Broadway Blue? Hope this helps

There is, in the online library, a 1948-1954 Group parts book. On page 494 is a list of all colors available - on page 496 two tone combo's for 1952 are listed. Type Body Lacquers in a search box and that will take you right to the pages.
