Nice to note they got the Hudson right - in the book Kerouac makes a small error, calling it a 49 Hudson Hornet (I think '49 is right). Been a couple years since I read the book - it's on my bookshelf and i re-read it now and again.

They did a movie on the same subject a few years back and it was filmed here in Ogden, Utah. Got to be a part of it with two of my cars. They started filming at ten at night and went until seven in the morning. They had Jack driving a 49 mecury convertible and Keyona (spelling) Reves played Jack. About the only good thing about the movie was what they paid me to drive my cars across the street a few times. It was going to be called "the last time I committed sucide." Do not know what they finaly called it. However, the chick from China Beach was a lot of fun to take to dinner---and the movie company paid!!!0

It's good to finally watch the movie trailer and see the car in action! We had this car here at Vintage Coach for several months for service & storage. The car was at Francis Ford Coppola's Winery being stored, before being brought to us. When it left here, they were taking it to San Francisco to be put on display at a museum. So it's good to see that the car got put to good use!0
