I'm a little bit bummed about having to sign in every time. Couldn't it go a week or something?0

Thanks fossiltin62, that issue is already in our known issues post and is being worked on.
Slim, we see a daily/twice daily post from you talking about issues you are having, if you would reply to our email to you then you'll get all your issues fixed more quickly.
We emailed your ?????@structures??? email address, perhaps you could check it?
Alternatively, email info@classiccar.com and we'll talk to you directly.

Is there now an easy way to "private message" someone via the forum?

There is a post that has links to some videos that explain how to use the forum, one of these is called 'private conversations' and can be found here along with a few others

While I'm sure everybody is appreciative of the work you fellows at classiccar.com have been doing to get us all up and running - I can't help but wonder (and I'm sure others feel the same) why y'all just left it the way it was. Ok, maybe change the skin, but left the site as was. It worked just fine. We had features that are difficult to find on this site, and while not used much we had a Hudson chat page so of us used on occasion. Maybe there was a copyright issue so you couldn't keep the same format as before.
Just curious.

Now here's an example of one of the problems - in my post above I need to edit my post after I posted it - change "I can't help but wonder (and I'm sure other feel the same) why y'all just left it............." to "I can't help...............................why y'all didn't just leave it the way it was."

You can edit your posts. On your post look to the right of the time stamp by your name you will see a word "edit" you click that and you can edit your post.0

It's interesting that I've had similar problems logging on to Classiccar.com. When I complained to the higher ups, they provided me with a temporary password which didn't work, but my old one now does the trick. What's going on here?!! Nobody seems to know!0

@1049superg But you're OK getting in now, is that right? Are there any more difficulties you're having still?0
-
Yep! My old name and password seem be working again as I'm able to respond to your question. Thanks for doing what it took to straighten things out ( at least for me!).0
