Hi, I'm back on this forum after about 4 years spent in moving, new job, buying a new house, etc. Now I'm on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington state. Anyway, I am now determined to get my 37T back on the road, and also to sell off some sheet metal that are duplicates I no longer have room for. This includes a R side front fender with a sidemount, and one without the sidemount. Also, a set of rear fenders that are unique to the 37 pickup. I have no idea what to ask. What do you think? Or should I just put it on ebay?

Congratulations on having your life finally settle down!

As to the Ebay idea, well, you'll arrive at a base price (either start the bidding there, or put a reserve on the sheet metal), but the main thing is to be sure to announce the sale here (and on any other Hudson sites you choose) well in advance of starting the Ebay sale, so you'll have your bidders ''primed''. (Don't wait until the sale has started; some folks might happen to be away from the Forum for a few days and you'd lose bidders.)

Where on the peninsula are you? I'm at Chehalis, about 30 miles south of Olympia.

Do you know Steve Welzbacher? He's at Seabeck, I think (or at least his dad, who recently passed away, lived there). Dad Pete had a Terraplane or two, and Steve has a pickup. He's an enthusiastic Hudsonite, and a great guy to talk to.

You might also want to check out the NW Chapter of HET- I'll try to post a link.

Well, I guess I don't know how anymore. Anyhow, the website is www.nwchapterhet.weebly.com. There's an event in June- parade in Shelton, then a meet at Frank and Patty Hughes place, south of Shelton. They had a meet there last year, great hosts and a cool place.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest, "where its either raining, or going to pretty soon".

  • Jon and Mike, thanks very much!
I am up on the straits near Dungeness. Still not too far from either Chehalis or Seabeck. Also I could use a few small parts - so I'll check out the nw web site. Thanks for the information!

I bought the rear PU fenders from JT, but the back ends had been cut off of both. (the most important part of the fenders). Is anyone else interested in them?
They are now located in north Fla.
