Another: What is this- where does it go - is it Hudson?
Another puzzle to help solve please - I hope I will not have too many more!
I thought this was for the horn mounting but it appears not to be the case. Can help someone identify this piece. Its overall length is 6" and I cannot be sure the small angle piece should either be there or is on correctly.
Here's hoping someone knows, thanks

It appears to be an overdrive cable support under dash bracket with something welded onto it. This should be a bracket for the 48-49 models if memory serves.0

THanks Hudzilla, you seem to have hit the nail right on the head - the bolt holes are clearly visible for it. It certainly makes a difference when you start and look in the right place!
Once I have the bottom section of the dash painted and installed again I can make sure the bracket is fitted the right way around and the job will be done.
Thanks again
