I actually have this kit complete purchased from the same source.. As it turns out, getting that tapered pin out of the shaft can be one hell of a job, then you need the correct taper-ream to drill and install the new one.
Before you spring for this, I'd suggest just unbolting the pivot mechanism (an easy job, easier still if you have a lift) and examining the actual pivot pin. You may very well find, as I did, that you just need to replace the bearings, which will NOT require removing the existing pin. Just check for play at the bearing, if sloppy, take it down to your local bearing shop, they will have a replacement in stock.

I agree with phil I have a 54 that someone the previous owner had install the center point pivot pin and bearings and never seated it correctly, I had someone who new what they were doing correct it, If you don't have to replace the whole thing just do the bearings saves alot of time.0
