Private message

I need some guidence, I thought I Knew how to send a private message. The one I sent to OL Racer
is visable under 'Activity " , this doesn't seem Private.
Can somebody give simple instructions for a PM?
Is it the same as Activity ?
Nothing shows on up in my Inbox.
I sent a couple when the forum first changed over and they worked , but not now.
Thanks for any help.

I see there's a place that says " start a conversation",that must be PM,but what is " Activity" /

    @lostmind To send a private message, click on the member's name, and look at the box that appears in the upper left-hand corner for the option "Send xx a message". Type your message, and press 'Start Conversation', and that member only will be able to see your message.

    Activity is just a snapshot of recent posts.

    Thanks Scott , If I can only remember the next time I need it.
    I got tuned in to Private Message and had it figured out.
    This doesn't seem more difficult , just different.
