Modern Thermostat

Silly me, I forgot which way the modern thermostats are to be installed into the Hudson Thermostat Housing.

I had to purchase a new housing because the ear broke off the original. So I purchased one that has the plug in it with the little hole.

So, which way does the thermostat go into the housing? Spring side in housing or Spring in head cavity? It DOES sit flush in housing edge groove.

    Just remember the spring is the heat sensor - the heat comes from the motor so spring toward motor,
