37 gas tank sending unit

I'm surprised no one has jumped in here yet. The sender is from a Ford, late thirties to mid fifties but I'm unable to provide the part number. It is readily available. You would have to bend the float wire of course, to fit it to your particular tank. Anyway...be patient, someone will jump in here and give you the precise ordering information!0

FYI
Another alternative that ive used a couple times is an inexpensive universal Float & Gauge Kit from JC Whitney that works well. The float screwed into the original tank plate then adjusted the Float arm. I mounted one gauge inside the dash cluster and the other Hudson I mounted the gauge in a bezel.0 -
is this the ford unit that will work?

I used the 50's Ford version in my 37, but I can't find the supplier info. Go to ebay number 251068483596. It looks like the one I put in my car. You need to bend the rod to fit your tank. Ask this guy some questions about the size and make sure it's 6 volt.0
