Home made steering wheel puller

Needed to pull a Jeep Truck steering wheel today and none of what I had would work. I had been planning to build this for a long time so 'got er done' in about half an hour. Worked great.
I'm showing it with the Hudson adapter which I had the local machine shop make some time ago.

Yankee ingenuity hard at work - that piece looks rugged enough to pull a door off a space shuttle!!!!!!!!

Hay, I would like to make one too, how big are the C-clamps, how far apart are they?
The shiny metal pieces on the bench, are they aluminum? And what are they're dimentions?
Thanks appreciate this info and picture. Great, Bob P0 -
Tried to post last nite but storms killed my wifi.
C-clamps are 3in deep x about 4 1/2 long. I took the swivels off and the ball ends go in slots in the old puller with the screw that's been around here forever.
Adapter is copied from 1/2 a steel Hudson part
ID 1 3/4 plus 1/64 for a little clearance
Upper OD where it goes up inside the wheel is 2 3/32 dia x 3/8 long
Middle OD is 3in dia x 1/4
Lower OD is 2 1/2 dia x 3/8
