Central Regional Meet

I got home this evening bout 7:30 From the meet at K'zoo. I was only there yesterday and today but I really enjoyed it. Hudson folk are the best.
got to visit with Larry Kennedy and Sue. John Pontius always has a hand out to shake. The entertainment value of being in the crowd that gathers around Dr. Doug is priceless plus what one can learn from hearing some of the stories. Got tovisit with and get a hug from our chapter president, Kay Amman, it's also nice when folk remember who you are and ask about your kids. Got spend a few minutes with our national club president Aaron Cooper. I watched him take a new member around and introduce him to fellow Hudson folk and grab a couple of manuals from Roger Tallents vendor table and help answer questions about his 39 Traveler. Good leader. And, anybody that cannot benefit from being around Hedley and Patty Bennett aren't human. In addition to a lifetime of knowledge and experience, He knows how to live life, have fun and he's contagious.
I was concerned abou the unfinished condition of my Hudson and the negative comments it might draw, but none of that happened. folk were complimentary and encourageing.
