Replacement cover for front 52 Hudson Emblem?

Anyone know where I can find a new (or good used) replacement cover for the front Hudson emblem on a 52 Pacemaker? My emblem itself has very little red paint left on it and the clear plastic cover for the emblem is cracked so much it is hard to see what is behind it.

I plan on repainting the emblem and wondered if a new clear cover was available anywhere. Thanks.

I think they were around $80 last time, but worth every penny. Talk about a quick and easy way to dress up your hudson.

Even if you find one on E bay that is original and looks good , you wind up paying the $80.00 or more since it is orig. I can't tell the diff between the K gap and the orig. once mounted. Looks great. Has anyone had amy luck painting the old faded ones??? I have about 3 of them. All need paint.
  • Thanks, guys.... I have had the catalog for about a month - never got back to those back pages.... I found them.

    Thanks again.

What style is it? I might have a nice NOS-USED one I could make you a good deal on A picture or part number would help!
  • Bobby, I've repainted them. Takes a LOT of patience. You also have to use paints for plastics. Results were decent, although nothing beats NOS.
