By removeable panel, you mean "fender skirt"...No.. this is a part of the bottom of the front fender, doors and rear quarter panels. The piece you are speaking about is wider and is attached to the rocker panel and fender skirts. The piece you are speaking about is a bit wider than the one that is being reproduced . The one you need should be more plentiful and not so hard to find. I think it was used 48-50 ? maybe even later. I think that 1950 molding that we are talking about is called "eyebrow".. 48-49 is a simple oval. Plain as mud? A parts book is even more difficult to understand..LOL
  • OK....Fender Skirt.........Yep that is the trim piece I need.

    Pacemaker 500,
The part number is 213480 Fits 48-50 junior cars. It is the same as the lower trim.( My experience is, if it's been used as the lower, It has taken a slight curve to fit the curve of the lower part of the skirt, and might not fit well on the upper.) I have a pretty nice one that should fit perfectly. Just reimburse me for postage and it's yours. I recently replaced all my upper rocker stuff to Commodore, so this is surplus. Shoot me your address.. maybe by PM?
Or if you are going to GB I'll bring it along next week.
