Some ramblings: Did you notice the green '52C8Hlwyd? It has VA plates, which means it probably belongs to the Chesapeake Bay Chapter and that would mean that that car and Lew's '52C8CV, which is also in the CBC have two of the rarest Hudsons in existence in the same chapter. I'm sure that that HLWYD is probably the only one left, like Lew's CV.

Love the '42CCV!! I want one.

    SIGH * * * . . . wish I was there.

The 52 Hollywood was purchased by bud Lewis in the lat 50's. He and his bride dated an honeymooned I the car and owned it right up until the gave it to their grandson

There is a black one, believe it is in NY. It too is a beautifully car

Strange? The sticker they put on our 1936 read "Car 213" ???
  • Thats what I heard , the numbers on the cars were over 200 early in the meet,

I thought the same thing about the car numbers on the little stickers - somebody told me, tho, that they started with 101 and went up from there. So car 213 was actually #113.
As I recall #101 was on Dave McWalters 1932 Essex-Terraplane Roadster, but I could be wrong.
