Clearly some things have changed. I would wait and see. It is not just you.

My "bookmarked" Hudson forum now opens with an annoying classified ad page.0
-
I have to sign in every time now, like when this new forum started. Why do things have to change all the time? :-O0
-
Why do the problems only effect a few members? So far mine has not changed.0
-
I had to change my bookmark direction but no biggie.0
-
Yes, I noticed the change, but I do not look a gift horse in the mouth.0
-
Hi All, yes, there was a revised website (not forum) launched yesterday which may have cause a few interruptions to service (I was advised that it wouldn't) but that wont see any changes here in the forum hence the lack of notice.
If you had bookmarked anything other than www.classiccar.com/forum then it makes sense to change it to this address as this is the non-changing address for the forum - and has been since X months back when we did the 'big' change.
If you end up at the homepage there is an obvious link to 'forum' at the top in the black bar.
If you are seeing other issues, try clearing your cookies, updating your bookmark and then you can email me direct at bf@ (the website address) if it persists.
Friday is never a good day to make a site change from experience but as i'm in the forum now replying i'm to assume all is fine.0 -
has there been a text size change or have my eyes gone bad??????0
-
Yep , had to move the chair closer and move the moniter both,
but like the man said , the price is right!0 -
Hi guys, where are you seeing the text as smaller? Just generally in the forum you mean?0
-
Yes , right here. When I type this it's fine , but after I hit Post Comment it shrinks to half size.
The print on the cover page when I log in is fine.0 -
The font is Times New Roman 12point.........kinda small for here in the forum0
-
it's fine on other forums I go to , 1/2 size here.I have to enlarge everytime I come here?
was ok a few days ago.0 -
Here's a new one - I log in and the Discussions forum comes up. I click on Hudson and I wind up in Discussions > Hudson > Street Rods. Click on the back space arrow in my tool bar and up comes Hudson!!!!
What's with this??????? Signed: Confused

This is all easily fixable so no need to be concerned that it will be ongoing. I can't reproduce the small font issue here but will be able to from the office on Monday, I will then demonstrate to the developers and they will fix it.
As for ending up in the Street Rods sub category of Hudson, I think that could have been a miss-click and I can't reproduce it and that category is right next to the Hudson link?
Let me know if that happens again please Alex.0 -
Thank you Ben0
-
Thanks Ben, but I still wind up with Discussion > Hudson > Street Rod when I (carefully) click on Hudson. Clicking on the back button in my tool bar brings me to the Hudson forum.

Hello All,
My name is Rachael and I work for ClassicCar.com. I'm just letting you know that we're doing our best to solve your problems behind the scenes with the developers. Please be patient with us as we work on sorting out any issues with the website. We've been listening to your feedback on the website design and as you may have noticed the whole website (apart from forum) has undergone significant changes over the last few days. We're aiming to bring you the smoothest, fastest and easiest website we can, and we'd love to hear your feedback to make it even better. We will be increasing the font size in the forum within the next few days, we apologise for any drop in text size during this time of website upgrade.
Thank you all for your patience!
Kind regards,
Rachael0 -
