More Rooms Available at Host Hotel for 2013 National Meet !!

Ed has been able to secure a few more rooms for Thurs, Fri, & Saturday nights at the group rate of $105 per night. There are not many, so book now. The closer we get to the Meet date more rooms maybecome available, but it is difficult to say for sure if that will happen or when. Due to the business clientel which stay at the Marriot, earlier in the week is just not available. Marriot Courtyard is also full. We are encouraging members, at this time, to make your own arrangements at one of the many other hotels in the area for Mon, Tues, or Wednesday. Because the Meet is still so far off, none of the other establishments in the area are willing to make us group deals. Hopefully this will change as we get closer to July. Again, no one really anticipated this kind of response this early on. The NorCal chapter apologizes for the inconvenience, and hopes that, with a little extra effort on all our parts, this will be a truly great National Meet.

    There seems to be a lot of hotels in the area, however many of them are sold out. Might be wise to book a room now, at a nearby hotel, if something comes up you can always cancel. Many rooms are actually cheaper, online, then the rooms at the Marriott (without the HET rate). Look at an online map to see the location of the Marriott (Amphlett &Concar), then choose accordingly.
