Does anybody have the throttle linkage bellcrank for a Hornet with hydramatic and single carburator? I'd like all the parts but the bellcrank is the main part I need. I'm converting my '53 from Twin-H to the single WGD. I'm in the Baltimore area.

  • Don't have those parts but are you going to sell the twin-h unit? If so, call me at 310 502-5335, thx. Niels

Sorry, no. I want it for my other car. I bought one at the Orlando National and it's cracked.
  • If you are looking for the throttle linkage (bellcrank) that attaches to the drivers side of the engine on the pivot stud I have that, but what about the bracket under the coil and the link between there and the WGD carb? If you don't have these items give me a call on the subject and I will see if I can locate them for you as well. Fred Connors 503-293-0461

Thanks. I've got the coil bracket. I'm getting the bellcrank from Hudzilla. I may be interested in the rod that goes from the bellcrank to the cross-shaft, or I can make one if someone will give me the dimension (hint, hint).

Hey Rob! I found a throttle part I think may be correct. Can you describe the part you have and tell me how long it is?

Since we are on the subject, I have everything lined up to put Twin H on my Hornet except for the linkage. Anybody here have one or do I need to make one from scratch.
