Yes, the meet is 25-27 OCT in Pigeon Forge, TN. The Mid-South business meeting will be held on Saturday morning about 10:30. The host hotel is the Vacation Lodge located on US Hwy. 441 at traffic light #7. The entire lodge has been blocked for the H-E-T Club. All reservations must be made by 1 OCT to guarentee the group rate. To make reservations, call 1-800-468-1998 or 865-453-2640 in TN and ask for Kathy and specify you are with the H-E-T meet and a one night deposit is required to reservy the room. Their will be a hospitality suite and swap meet area in the back. Doug

I don't know who to contact regarding the Pigeon Forge meet but I am hoping that someone will get in touch with me. I am having the Hudson Essex Terraplane Club Welcome Center banner delivered to the meet in hopes that you can make use of it at your meet later this month. Please contact me to let me know who to deliver it to, and if you are willing to display it for your meet. It fits real nice on the front of a 10' X 10' tent or other suitable place. It makes a nice place to rest and visit with people who are stopping by to look at the cars, it works great to recruit new members.

Reply back to this post or send me an email at HETForkner@aol.com (drop the HET)

    Thanks for your help!

I have the banner and forgot to pass it along to one of our local (Maryland) members at Hershey. (He actually lives maybe 2 hours from me so I can't just drive across town to hand it off to him.)

If anyone is going to Pigeon Forge from the metropolitan Washington, DC area (I'm in Northern Virginia) possibly I could give the banner to them and save some postage.

Was looking for a report from PF. I plan on going up tomorrow. I am interested in 202 parts. Especially a twin-h for one. Would also need a complete motor. Thanks Hud

85 HETers attended from 12 chapters, 11 states and brought 20 HET cars. As allways, good time was had by all. Several of us from PA enjoyed ZIP Line tour while there. Thank you to Heartland members who hosted meet.

Dave has the stats right, we were disappointed we couldn't pull off the boil in time but will be sure to have something lined up next year. It has been a rough year for our chapter but we are moving ahead and planning next years event already. I didn't get as many car pictures as I would have liked to, but will download the ones I have tonight.

Thanks to everyone who made it there, we hope to see you back next year along with many more :)

Nobody mentioned the weather.. just as well... It was wonderful Friday afternoon, but then........... Oh well... The fellowship and fun... talking with other Hudson Nuts pretty much made it worth while. That was my nice looking Twin H manifold set. I sold to a man that will put it on a stepdown Pcup truck.. I swear.. that's what he said.. Bought some neat decals from Paul to decorate my garage and trailer. Also got to meet and talk with Larry Hudson! (among others).., A good time was had by all. the best part was ..the tail wind we had on the way back to Florida.. Actually got almost 9 MPG on the motor home ! LOL..

Same weekend next year, hotel said to start booking after January 1st. Planning starts at our December meet :) Dave is right, awesome weather Friday, Saturday turned cold and misty but that didn't keep me from spending the entire day kicking tires and talking Hudsons :)
